The Pharmacy practice encompasses all the knowledge and skills acquired from the pharmacy school. Also, it extends to learned skills out of pharmacy that may help a pharmacist to do his job and provide the best care to patients.
Some of these skills includes, the Leadership skills, business and marketing skills, management skills, Interpersonal and communication skills.
In addition, you cannot separate a pharmacist from the services he offers. It also deals with the activities of the pharmacist while carrying out his duties; such as attitudes to work, pharmacy code of conducts, believes and Ideas.
Therefore, a good pharmacy practice is the one that has a balance between the pharmacist believes and his code of conducts. Hence, there is need to improve pharmacists attitudes through philosophy, Pharmacy jurisprudence and cognitive modifications through training such as internship.
In summary, Pharmacy practice is a summary of who a pharmacist is and how he carries out his functions in any health care setting.
